The Committee is established to foster a collaborative relationship between the Texas State University Police Department and the Round Rock campus community. The Committee will provide recommendations on policies, procedures, and initiatives related to campus safety, policing, and parking.

Safe Walk Initiative
The Campus Safety Committee holds bi-annual "Safety Walks" where students, faculty, and UPD walk through campus after sunset to identify areas needing better lighting or landscaping maintenance.
