Students strolled, skateboarded and even unicycled over to The Quad for Coffee with the Cops, a semester tradition, hosted by the University Police Department. The coffee came with a side of donuts.

"It's a great opportunity to spend time with students and get to know what is on their mind," said Sgt. Benitez, Community Engagement Officer.

UPD officers got an assist from members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority who greeted students with the coffee and donuts.

Coffee with the Cops is one of many engagement events that the UPD team hosts for students on the campus.

Visit UPD Events to stay up-to-date on opportunities to meet the team, take safety courses and other tasty traditions including popcorn and paletas with the police.
