Mental Health Community Liaison Program

UPD is placing greater emphasis on holistic policing through the addition of a Mental Health Officer on the team. Through enhanced and targeted services in support of mental health calls, the Mental Health Officer carefully considers the unique and diverse situations of each individual at the university. 

To leverage all partnerships in support of students, the Mental Health Officer is working in close contact with the Texas State Counseling Center, and in conjunction with local agencies.
