Mounted Patrol Appearance Request

Thank you for your interest in hosting a visit from our Mounted Patrol Unit. These teams play a vital role in community engagement, providing a unique opportunity for Bobcats to interact with our officers and their equine partners while fostering a sense of safety and connection.

  • Advance Notice: All requests must be submitted a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the requested event date to allow for transport logistics and scheduling.
  • Request Status: Submitting this form constitutes a request only and does not guarantee an appearance. Availability depends on the schedules of our officers and the health and training requirements of our horses.
  • Operational Priority: As our Mounted Unit is an active-duty resource, a visit may be canceled last minute or end early due to emergency calls or urgent operational needs. We will make every effort to notify the requester as soon as a conflict arises.

Event Requirements

  • Site Safety: To ensure a positive experience for our guests and the well-being of our horses, the event location must have adequate space, stable footing, and a safe perimeter away from loud or sudden distractions (e.g., fireworks or heavy machinery).
  • Code of Conduct: Please review the Mounted Unit Safety & Conduct Guidelines prior to your event to ensure the safety of all attendees when interacting with the horses.

Confirmation

You will receive a follow-up email within 3–5 business days regarding the status of your request and any additional logistical requirements.
