Terms of Storage and Liability Waiver
By submitting this request, I, the undersigned, agree to the following terms and conditions for temporary secure storage of my device with the University Police Department (UPD):
- I certify that the device described above is my personal property.
- I understand that this request is subject to approval and space availability, and the UPD reserves the right to deny any request.
- I agree to drop off and pick up the device on the agreed-upon dates and times. Failure to pick up the device on the specified date may result in the item being considered abandoned property after a defined grace period (60 days) and may be subject to standard university property procedures.
- I understand that while the UPD will take reasonable measures to secure the property, the university and the UPD are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the device while in storage, or during the drop-off or pickup process.
- I confirm that the device is in good working order and does not contain any prohibited or hazardous materials.
